If you’re close to ‘prestiging’ in Call of Duty or you’re close to completing an online multiplayer campaign on a game, then it’s best you make use of your time tonight before the Playstation Network goes down for maintenance tomorrow.
PlayStation Corporate Communications and Social Media Director Patrick Seybold made a short and brief statement to describe the proceedings:
It’s a significant Playstation Network maintenance period that will last from just after noon pacific until about 2 a.m. Monday, March 5th
While maintenance is taking place, you Playstation gamers will be unable to use PSN services such as logging-in onto your PS3, on sites that use PSN credentials and more importantly, the ability to play games online.
