Senior staff have told the company that it has “two weeks to turn its fortunes around”.
A report made by MCV claims that senior staff of GAME have been warned by CEO Ian Shepherd that the company has two weeks to improve its financial figures, or the popular UK game retail store could face liquidation.
GAME have taken considerable steps to manage the pressure of increasing their numbers through the pre-owned firesale, which is now labelled “Spring Clean” promotion. Consoles and accessories have later been added to the promotion.
MCV tried to get a response from GAME, but a GAME representative told them that it doesn’t comment on rumour or speculation.
